Hello everyone. Just a quick update on the progress of the first beta release. I am very happy with the progress.

For those non-developeres out there, we use a software called Trac for tracking work, bugs, and our roadmaps. As of this evening, our current completion rate for the first beta release was 82%. Breaking the 80% barrier is a big milestone for us. And even looking at the remaining work, I can see we are getting very close to releasing the beta.

In fact we have been making such good progress that even the RC1 version (our first “release candidate” of the software) is now 7% complete simple as side-effects to the work for the beta release.

We will keep everyone updated as more progress is made.
